Shane Seyffert was a 2002 Winfield Virgin from Shawnee, Oklahoma who'd been playing for about 1½ years. He said his parents had been at least one other time and had convinced him that he ought to come. I was out looking for music before noon on the morning after Land Rush. Most of the seasoned pickers were already on Winfield Standard Time and were sleeping off the previous night's jam, so I decided to include Shane on my audio tour of the campground.
Shane is accompanied by a neighborhood cricket.
