Justin Carbone
Justin Carbone plays guitar and sings lead, baritone, bass and tenor vocals. Justin was raised in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, where he was given a banjo on his twelfth birthday. He soon began learning to play both the banjo and the guitar, and his passion for bluegrass music was aroused when he attended a bluegrass festival for the first time in 1992. After playing with regional Pennsylvania-based bands for several years, Justin co-founded the award- winning 2nd Edition bluegrass band in 1998. He continued to tour nationally with 2nd Edition until he relocated to Nashville and joined The Special Consensus in 2004.
