Smoky Hill River Festival, Salina, Kansas

This is not the official web site of the Smoky Hill River Festival in Salina, Kansas. You'll find that at www.riverfestival.com. The Salina Journal also provides excellent coverage of the Festival.

Instead, this is simply the personal photo album of someone who enjoys this festival every year. It's an impossible task for one person to capture all aspects of this festival, but this year's album comes a little closer to that goal than previous albums. The author's personal interests results in an emphasis on the musical performers. There are also photos of a few of the children's activities and food court. In addition to these aspects, Smoky Hill hosts some of the best arts & crafts exhibits in the Midwest, but this photo album does not cover that aspect of the festival.

I hope you'll enjoy the album. If you were there, I hope my photos will bring back fond memories. If you weren't there, I hope they'll motivate you to join me at the festival next year.
