Santa Fé Trails Bluegrass Festival May 18-20, 2001
Farm Town Stage
While not the main stage (that's the Americana), this stage is my personal favorite. The festival is held on the grounds of the National Agricultural Hall of Fame and this area is a recreation of a small farm town. The performance stage is the front porch of the general store with other picturesque buildings on both sides. From the stage, the ground gently slopes down to a farm pond. The entire area is surrounded by a working miniature railroad on which kids (of all ages) can take a ride. The scene seems fitting for the type of music being played.More views of the Farm Town stage setting.
Much of the audience sought the shade of 2 large tents.
The sound man brought a tent. Note the kites in the background.
