If you had a good time at this festival, here's the man you should thank. Thirty years ago, Bob Redford was one of the original founders of the Walnut Valley Festival held each September at Winfield, Kansas. The Santa Fé Trails Bluegrass Festival was started as an attempt to bring some of the Winfield experience to the Kansas City area. Bob has generously shared his expertise as a festival promoter with those running the SFTBGF and other festivals. That explains the tag he's wearing around his neck, which says “All Access — Bubba.”
