A quick trip to the Bay Area
November 5-8, 2007

Mission Street

Our motel was at 9th & Mission. Mission is only a block from Market (the main street). Since Nora was recovering from foot surgery, that was a long block, so we usually started most trips by taking the #14 trolleybus which runs the length of Mission and then crosses over to Market as it gets to the Ferry Terminal.

Besides the Muni trolleybuses, we frequently observed SamTrans #292 buses. Looking that up on the internet, we found that these went directly from our corner to San Francisco airport and cost only $3. That was cheaper than BART and was more convenient to our motel, so we used that route on the way back to the airport.
