- The Feryok sisters, pre-16 & 18, felt at home on the symphony orchestra stage. Then, Sasha and Nichole met some habitual bluegrass players. They liked the energy, and once they found the artistic freedom, they threw away most of their black dots, and started breathing easier in the atmosphere created by guitarist / lead-vocalist Jim Bullard, banjo standout Johnny Duncan, and Matt Dudte, who, in a spirited fashion (amazing runs included) wields the bass for Shadow Creek. Kathy Feryok also brings to the stage classical influence gleaned from her flute and piano days. Now she's doing her band residency as mandolinist, quite a change!...............................
