KANSAS HEART'S banjo player, Mike Theobald, along with his Dad, Jack were in Kansas' first bluebrass band. Albums, radio, and TV, including the nashville Network, have followed. Mandolinist / vocalist (and Mike's wife), Vickie Lynn adds rhythmic heat and crooning ,sweet, with an interesting "roundness, springing from MTV. Mark Bennett (bass, guitar, harmony, and leads) is an artistic, downhome, vintage man interested in keeping the roots of bluegrasss alive. Robbie Melton, a regional standout, (lead, guitar, and harmonies), well to name...Marlboro's Showdown Talent, IBMA Northeast Regional winner, Nashville appearances:The Bluebird Cafe and Courtyard Cafe. Jamming is in this band's blood.
