About that picture

Photo Disclaimer: These people are NOT “Renters From Hell”! They are actually my German relatives who lived their lives near Phillipsburg, Kansas. Seated in chairs are my great-grandparents, Kathrine (1857-1921) and John Duell (1851-1928). Standing in the back, second from your right, is my grandmother, Elizabeth Duell (1888-1990). She married Martin Henry Gackstatter in 1911. She is also the “Lizzie” mentioned in Under The Kansas Sky.
