Each year, our visit to Newfoundland coincides with The Tuckamore Festival, a chamber music festival. In recent years, we've managed to schedule at least one visit to this event, usually one of the noontime youth concerts. This time, the only Tuckamore event that worked into our schedule was a public rehearsal of the Lafayette String Quartet at Petro-Canada Hall on the campus of Memorial University. As expected, it was worth the visit.
