The city of Larned has a new program of incentives to encourage people to build houses in Larned:
(Owner must choose either the Tax Rebate or the cash incentive.)
Neighborhood Revitalization Program
Declining % Tax Rebate for New Homes over 5 Year Period
- 95% rebate year 1
- 95% rebate year 2
- 95% rebate year 3
- 80% rebate year 4
- 75% rebate year 5

- Cash Incentive of $5,000 upon occupancy of a new house in a developed area of the City and $4,500 upon occupancy of a new house in a new subdivision in the city limits of Larned
- waiver of sewer charges for the first year of occupancy,
- waiver of water tap/meter installation fees up to a 1" meter or a reduced charge of $300 for water tap/meter installation of a 1.5" water meter.
