GPDA's Winfield Warm-Up Picnic
| Each year, on the Saturday before the festival itself, the Great Plains Dulcimer Alliance holds its annual Winfield Warmup Picnic at Island Park in Winfield. Island Park is at the north end of Main Street. They have morning and afternoon workshops, both beginner and advanced, for many instruments with noted teachers providing the instruction. There's lunch available at a reasonable cost, a pot-luck supper, as well as performances by those who sign up. Bring your instrument and learn and/or perform. |
