Jerry O'Neil

Jerry O’Neil became interested in the autoharp after experiencing a concert by singer / songwriter, harpist, Bryan Bowers. Before becoming a founding member of the Walnut River String Band, Jerry would occasionally drive over 2 hours, each way to participate in music gatherings in Oklahoma City. He has maintained his friendship over the years with Bryan Bowers, and has become an expert with the autoharp. Jerry also provides the bass voice when harmony is needed, and on some tunes adds the penny whistle.
