from Hill City, Kansas
The New Old-Timers
The New Old-Timers: from Hill City, KS return to Pickin' on the Plains as "regulars". Their name says it all! They've become quite well-known throughout Kansas at festivals, historical re-enactments, and town celebrations, playing old-style to modern bluegrass, celtic and folk, with ease. Their carefree manner is great at old time dances, and the group is relaxing and fun to watch on stage.
The band features lead singer, guitar player and funny man J.F. Stover, the serious and determined Joe Vincent on clawhammer, melodic and three-finger style banjo, Todd Toman on toe-tappin' fiddle and hot-fire mandolin, and the sweet and soothing sounds of Kenna Vincent on lead and harmony vocals and upright bass.
Their music will take you through a gamete of emotions, eras and places. We know you'll enjoy your time with the New Old-Timers!
