Friday - 9:30 a.m.
"THE WALDORF WAY"
Elaine Harris earned her Waldorf Education Certification from Emerson College in England. She will show how the storytelling elements of this approach powerfully impact the teaching/learning environment.

Friday - 2:30 p.m.
"PARTICIPATION STORIES"
Marilyn Kinsella has been telling stories since 1981. She will share original acetate, pocket and monkey mitt stories and finger plays. Learn techniques to add lively participation to stories. Bring a glove & make your very own monkey mitt!

Saturday - 11:00 a.m.
"NATIVE STORIES/GAMES"
Trudie Lamb Richmond (Kakiokwehaweh — One Who Carries the Crowd") is a Schaghticoke Tribal Elder, Master Storyteller and education program manager at the Mashantucke Pequot Museum & Research Center in Connecticut. She has lectured and conducted workshops on the history and culture of Northeastern Native People for 51 years. She will demonstrate how to utilize traditional Eastern Native games with storytelling. She will share some of her favorite stories, storytelling techniques and ways of weaving stories into the curriculum.

"THE HEALING AFFECTS OF STORYTELLING"
Gladys Coggswell's quest for spiritual growth helped her to get beyond her own painful past and to help others do the same. Learn the healing techniques of stories and how to find inner peace. Learn how and where to use the healing aspects of storytelling to teach and reach others.
