When I first registered to attend Folk Alliance, I had plans to hear a few more different acts. Then Shanneyganock decided to come and that made me change my plans. I wasn't going to miss any of their sets if I could help it! I had seen them in Newfoundland in 2003 at the George Street Festival, in 2007 at the Festival of Friends, and in 2008 at the Newfoundland and Labrador Folk Festival, but I wanted to see as much of them in Memphis as possible. It was worth it.
