"The Castle" in Convent Station, NJ (I used to work here!) In the 1960's, I worked for General Drafting, Inc. At the time, their headquarters was in this building and I did some work there proofreading maps. Since then, the company has folded and the building has reverted to its original residential purpose. Being in the neighborhood, I decided to drive by. I wish I had stopped longer to take a better picture. Maybe next time.

The Minstrel Morristown, NJ On Friday evening, everyone else was busy, so I made a solo trip to The Minstrel, a folk venue in Morristown, NJ operated by the illustrious Mike Agranoff. This time, the featured performers were Cindy Mangsen & Steve Gillette whom I had seen several times in Kansas but are always worth hearing. The opening act was The Belles Trio, a trio of local female vocalists who were accompanied by a couple of guys. Mike books good acts, so its almost always worth a trip to Morristown on Friday evening.
