Bluestem ventured west over miles and miles and miles of wheat fields last year from Lawrence, KS to make their debut at Pickin' on the Plains. Their easy-going cowboy manners and Western ways went over out here like 2 inches of nice slow rain in the middle of a long, dry spell.

We relaxed and were taken back in time as we heard trail songs like "Tumblin' Tumbleweeds", "Cool Water", "Cattle Call" and "Ghost Riders".

Once the wagons were all circled and the vote was in, the wagonmaster and everyone in the train agreed that Bluestem had to be back for another year!!
