Loren Minnis

Loren Minnis was born in Pratt, Kansas on June 12, 1926 and is a graduate of Pratt Community College. He served in the first integrated Army units. He is a historian and has taught at Pratt Community College. He is State Vice-President of the NAACP and has been a Silver Hair Legislator for six years. He is on the Board of Directors of the Southwest Council on Aging (covering 26 counties) and also acts as Vice Chairman. He came from a singing family.
