About Pearl Bowser
Pearl Bowser of African Diaspora Images attended the event. Pearl Bowser was a director of the video "Midnight Ramble," which chronicles the story of Oscar Micheaux and the race film industry. Pearl's biography of Oscar Micheaux was just released in August of 2000 by Rutgers University Press. The biography is entitled "Writing His Way Into History."
