Garfield School

It was taken on 11/15/1945, 4th grade, Garfield School. I also included the back of the picture for reference. I don't remember who the teacher was or who any of the other students are. However, the boy in the front row with the plaid shirt and mean look on his face looks familiar.

I only lived in Kearny, at 338 Highland Avenue, for one year during WW-II at my grandmother's house while my uncles were in the service. If you have any clue to the teacher or who any of the other kids are, I'd appreciate you letting me know. My mother's side of the family were long time residents of Kearny and although I only lived there for one year, I have fond memories of the town. Being as my uncles grew up in Kearny and I'm into genealogy, I've aquired a few other pictures from cousins which I will send in a day or two. I'm not sure about the dates of the other pictures so I'll try to date them for you.

Regards, Ed
